Honey from the world's northernmost apiary. Pure, natural and sustainable — from the Finnmark plateau to your table.
Go to shopSkibukt Apiary is run by Sissel Goodame from Østerbotn in Lakselv, Porsanger — at the head of the Porsanger Fjord in Finnmark. What started as a passion for beekeeping has grown into the world's northernmost apiary, with seven beehives producing pure and flavourful honey under the midnight sun.
The motivation is simple: to produce sustainable honey of the highest quality, while helping to protect the bees and the fragile arctic ecosystem. Every drop of honey carries the taste of the unique Finnmark nature.
Light and mild honey from the arctic summer's wild flowers. The bees collect nectar from mountain flowers and meadow plants during the short, intense summer under the midnight sun.
Dark, aromatic and full-bodied honey from Finnmark's heather moors. A characteristic jelly-like consistency with a deep, complex flavour that is sought after by honey connoisseurs.
An exclusive speciality from the Finnmark plateau. The bees visit the precious cloudberry plants and create a rare honey with a distinct fruity undertone — the Arctic in a jar.
